“On July 10, 2011 the first of many Club 21/My Chance to Dance classes began. These lessons are for those 13 and up.  Peggy is an awesome instructor from CCPlus who specializes in working with kids and young adults with special needs and knows how to get everyone moving.  Our young adults enjoy the socialization and dancing.”

“For 15 years my son, Trevor, has been taking dance/exercise lessons with CCPlus. He loves it!!! Each week all the dancers look forward to seeing each other and learning the up-to-date dances.  They feel like everyone else out on the dance floor and that’s what is important. Trevor’s brothers always ask, “where did you get that dance move?” and we reply, “CCPlus!”

“I have taken groups of students with developmental disabilities to My Chance to Dance for the past several years. Every trip there has been a group favorite!  Peggy DiMercurio is a phenomenal instructor. She caters to the needs of all the students and ensures that they are all engaged, able to follow along and, above all, have fun!  She loves to interact with the students and get everyone pumped up to dance and move to the music!  She does a great job of mixing it up with different songs (she even takes requests!), moves and props. My Chance to Dance will always be on my list of Community Based Instructional Outings.”

“The Macomb/St. Clair Autism Society

has worked with Peggy from CCPlus for over 10 years, providing exercise programs and participation opportunities for the children and young adults affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.  We have been holding a weekly “exercise class” at CCPlus, instructed by Peggy, to provide appropriate exercises and encouragement to our population of kids. This program, which provides safe, easy instruction to our kids, not only gets them “moving” but laughing, socializing and participating in “life” skills each and every week.”
